When I got my 50mm 1.4 lens I was so excited to shoot wide open! Every photo I took was set to 1.4... too bad every photo came out a mess! Then I discovered a post (link is in Day 15) and it changed my whole view on photography.
Now, I have a few rules...
~Use a flash as much as possible (external flash that is!)
~Point the flash on the back wall or ceiling -NEVER on the face!
~Shutter can be set a bit lower than regular (only if flash is fired... a.k.a dragging the shutter)
~Stick to a high aperture setting. Above 3.0
I really love my photos now! Day 17 and I can't believe how much I learned!
I didn't take a picture today. So i'll just post an oldie (well, not too old, more like 2 weeks old).
Here is Jared taking Aiden for a walk. That's beer in that cup ;)
